Are you talking about the Kaspersky OS? I think it's redundant, and a poor replacement for QNX.

It might replace Windows embedded, though. That would be nice.

    Kaspersky OS

realistically speaking, this is first competitor for QNX...

Possibly, but I don't think Kapersky is very experienced with making OSs while QNX is a mature platform (and I don't think it's showing it's age)
And I honestly don't believe their experience can help them make an ultra secure OS that doesn't need constant patching or being taken offline.

I'm just saying that Kapersky OS would be much more suitable for systems like these: Malware Is 'Rampant' On Medical Devices In Hospitals - Slashdot

As in they will be writing their own kernels, microkernels and etc? Tall order to wage a war against QNX just by face value. QNX does have some really heavy clout to boast, being one of the most stable and secure operating systems with 30 years of headstart. Still, competition should be healthy.

QNX kernel is very small and secure already. Kaspersky is just living off the fact they caught the stuxnet virus which was Windows based anyway lol Its a broken record with Windows isn't it?

I still think OpenBSD is a better solution.

Stuxnet and FLAME, and possible variants of Iran-industry-destroying viruses that were purpotedly developed by the government of united states of america. The fact that it went undetected for so long...
