    If I BBM with a friend who has a phone running Droid, is my Classic less secure since he is on some app for Droid and not on a Blackberry, or does this make no difference? Thanks!

    No the Android device does not make it less secure.... but you might want to make sure just how secure BBM is or isn't, if you are concerned about security for some reason.
