On my old Blackberry there used to be a "vault where i could keep secure stuff like passwords. But I don't have it on my Curve. Is there any way I can set up such a facility.

Also is it possible to set a password on a media file?

The native app is called Password Keeper and it works ok. It should already be installed on your berry.

If you want a more powerful program, Ascendo DataVault is really good: Best-Selling Password Manager for BlackBerry - Ascendo DataVault. I've used it for a couple of years.

Ascendo is definitely the way to go. I particularly like the desktop companion you can use with it so if you have multiple entries, you're not limited to using the BB only.

I've used Datavault and really like it, but not sure what's up with the company now. I've sent two emails, one last week and one the week before to them and have not gotten any reply. Either they don't care, or they are in the process of closing their doors. Either way, you may want to look at a different solution.
