I washed my phone in the washer, followed all of the instructions: pull the battery and place in a bag of rice for a few days.. turned on my curve and it worked! The screen had several "water stains" in it but as the days go on they have disappeared. They only problem I still have is my screen never turns off. When the screen should turn off, it goes to a white screen. The only way to completely turn off the screen is to pull the battery. Anybody have any idea how to fix this?

Hopefully you have insurance and can get it replaced. You could try wiping the device and reloading the software, but I doubt that would help. Couldn't hurt though.
