I know that it is suggested to clean the battery connections to improve battery life/performance. This past weekend I took a small knife and scraped the individual plates to remove debris. I would never suggest using a wire brush or anything similar so as to avoid making contact between points. But since cleaned them I have experienced improved performance.

Just thought I would pass this along. Please be careful as I used something that could not touch the other plates.

No real reason to do that unless you live in a very humid country were moister would get into everything.

A better and much less (potentially) destructive tool would be an eraser, preferably the slightly abrasive ones used for ink but a simple pencil eraser will do just fine.

OK, I have been using my phone all day and I am at 76% with a .5 hour on a cradle charger to my computer which is very slow to charge.
