Well, I'm hoping this will drive the 8GB cards down below $100 so I can get one more readily when 4.3 finally gets released for the 8300!

No point. None of our BlackBerries can handle 12 GB....

Ill just buy several 4GB cards have one and two 2GB cards only paid for the 4GB now I need to use them

This is great news, for me. I've been waiting for flash memory to increase past 4GB for a while. The cost of a 32GB flash drive was $1500, a few months ago. Now, it's down to $300. Still a bit pricey, for me. I'm hoping these increases in CF cards will help that drop a bit more...soon.

Yeah,i definitely think it will take more software updates to get past 8gb john,when we get to 32gb microsd,i wonder how much it will cost,you think if they now have 12gb cards,the update will cover those john?

Honestly? Who needs more than a meg of ram? I'm content with 4gb now, but who complains about 'too much' storage?

wow. thats a lot. But I think 8gb is perfectly enough. Probably dont want all your stuff gone if your card goes bad.

If only the flash cards were more easily accessible without having to remove the battery. THAT would be nice.

lucky, on the curve, its located under the battery. so removing the battery is a must.
