I remember buying floppy disks that cost an arm and a leg during the time typewriters were still in use!

I remember buying a 1gb for 100 bucks a good long whole ago.

I wish I could say that. 32gbs is nothing, a few movies and 8gigs of music on sd card.

Amazon.com has them listed for US$120.00 but are temporary out of stock. BestBuy.com lists for US$200.00 and available. Still searching for reliable sources.

In the US it's exclusive to those 2 distributors right now. Can't wait to hear if it works in a Z30

This is super-awesome! Just really need to be able to install apps on the SD card, this would be awesome.

The 2TB limit the FAT32 limit for volumes.

Though reports of BB10 supporting exFAT have been seen. exFAT volume limit is 16exabytes, which is 16 billion gigabytes.

Though it will make the scanning the SD card take forever...lol

This is correct but only theoretical limits for both. Either way that is a ton of space.

How much you wanna bet that it will work just fine in a BB?

You can't really design a storage card to spec and make it only compatible with a certain OS.

    Plus:

The card, which the company claims delivers twice the speed of a standard SD card, has been built specifically for use in Android devices and is expected to have compatibility with any device capable of interfacing with an SDXC card. The device works by stacking 16 memory dies vertically, with each thinner than a single hair, allowing more storage to be fitted into the confined space of a microSD card.

Sure...just like Samsung Micro USB chargers only work with Samsung...RIGHT?

Transcend make standardised volumes. There is nothing proprietary about this thing's interface.

Android, iOS and BlackBerry are all Unix-based so they all access external volumes in the same manner - obviously this is moot for iOS because there is a physical lack of the port.

This is why a lot of things that are designed to work with Android will work with BB10.

    Don't be so small-minded.

    Mmm...CB10! Just the tip though...

Don't feed the troll. The troll is wrong,of course, this card will work just fine in any device with an sdcard slot. Whether the card has to be reformatted as FAT is another story. If the card was Android only, I wouldn't be able to put it in my windows laptop, and that would be plain silly.

Z10 on OS 10.1 AT&T. Downgraded the leak from 10.2 because of a video chat issue with my PlayBook. Don't worry about proof of concept, I have been in the forums long enough to do the right thing. Amazon says it is still on track for Tuesday delivery...stay tuned.

For all you waiting to get a SanDisk 128 gb micro sd card; I will say that the trolls are wrong, it works as advertised.

First, if you plan on keeping the old files from your previous sd card, remove it after you have turned the phone off and make a backup copy of the files on it.

Insert your 128 gb sd card in the correct slot and turn the phone back on. Format the new card. Turn phone off and remove the 128 gb sd card put all the files on it you want. Replace in phone and enjoy.

    Note : I used an AT&T Z10 on OS 10.1.x ;
I did it this way because not everyone uses BlackBerry Link; I was on the latest leak and downgraded because of an issue with Video Chat with my PlayBook.
