I wanted to know your opinions on the following theory:

Rumours and leaks show that BlackBerry are releasing a device with Google Services, to do this, they must join and comply with the OHA
For BlackBerry to keep an Android runtime on BB10, it cannot be a part of the OHA.
We have not heard news of BlackBerry joining the OHA.
We have heard of BlackBerry working closely with Samsung.
Samsung is part of the OHA.
The BlackBerry Venice is almost an S6 Edge with a slide out keyboard and different software.
This may imply that Samsung is involved in the manufacture of the Venice.
Could BlackBerry be having a weird licencing agreement with Samsung to avoid having to join the OHA by licencing the BlackBerry name, keyboard and OS security to Samsung who simply manufacture the hardware?
This way, BlackBerry 10 keeps Android runtime, but BlackBerry brand gains Android customer base.

    What are people's thoughts?

You know none of this is really new right? People just don't really care about the Samsung portion.. in fact, it's even debatable if it's Samsung. If anything is being overlooked, it's a possible LG relationship lol. Samsung isn't the only ones with curved screens. LG has one they never put to use.. and BlackBerry recently switched the front facing cameras from on the Silver Edition Passport to LG cameras from Samsung ones.

    (o wow 1st reply from Mr Bla1ze :3 )

Replacing every instance of Samsung with LG or any other OHA manufacturer, the theory could still hold could it not?

And people have probably thought of this entire thing before, I just haven't been able to find it written up altogether yet.

Oh yea, for sure. It really could be something like that I just dunno how far those OHA rules can be bent. If it was that easy, I'd like to think someone would have already thought of it but who knows. The Samsung aspect hasn't been forgotten or overlooked, people just don't really care right now, too distracted wondering which OS it will have haha!

Maybe BBRY is just testing Android software (hub etc.) on Android phones created by them. They do not have plans to sell these Android phones. So they do not violate anything.
