I have a blackberry curve and there are two messages stuck on my home screen and I cannot for the life of me delete them! Because of the case I use (Otterbox) It's kind of complicated to remove the phone from the case to remove the battery. Is there a way to reset the phone without removing the battery? These messages are almost a month old and still stuck on my home screen! HELP

Try typing ALT + Right Shift/Caps key + DEL. This should do a soft reset. Not as good as an actual battery pull but hopefully clears the message.
