True, plenty of dates have been mentioned, however this was a specific date (Feb 5th). I'm just trying to find the primary source of the Feb 5th date. If it's BlackBerryScoop, you have to give credit where it's due.
its not, we have heard the 5th in several threads over a week ago.
Indeed, the 5th and 6th have been particularly popular guesses since it is conveniently a week after launch, but to be honest I am still hoping that they pull a surprise and manage to get them into the stores for Jan 31st in some countries.
I guess I'll throw some logs onto the fire... My long time friend who works at Rogers has confirmed Feb 5th. I've been avoiding asking her, i didn't want to bother her. She asked several other people and the 5th is the answer all around.
rogers is always slow. no wonder :(

What? Rogers is always the fist to get everything..
As I said before I think all Canadian carriers will get the z10 on the same date, so it's a moot point here, but check your facts.. Rogers has never been slow to release a new handset.
i hope it is released on the 5th February in the UK too, as my excitment levels are off the planet.
I posted this in another thread yesterday as I didn't find this thread...
ps Howard Chui wouldn't post this if this wasn't happening in Canada

Just got word that RIM's BB10 device will be launching on Feb 5th. It will be $650 no contract and will be available in black or white.
Dealers should be getting stock Jan 30th.
Who's excited? I'm pretty pumped for the launch next week. Anyone going to get one? Is your iPhone/Galaxy for sale right now? ...
It is Feb 5th, they have a poster up at Walmart saying Feb 5th. They wouldn't do that unless they were certain.
Pic's or it didn't happen :p
What? my good word isn't enough?

Ummm nothing about this poster is official.. it's clearly home made.
who would make a poster for BB10 and have old phones in it?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
Agreed... Walmart does have posters up but they don't have a date and they don't look anything like that.
Feel free to go to the Wal-Mart at Lougheed mall to confirm, that poster was on the blackberry section.
I never said it was made by RIM, but it was definitely put up by Wal-Mart and why would they put it up unless they were scheduled to release the devices on Feb 5th?
Your whole persona *reeks* of fake. 23 posts. Posting blackberry 10 posters showing a torch and a date. Denying and fighting to prove your point. Total bull**** I'm sorry
this is about the only poster you will see right now. Shows our local carriers at the bottom.

I'm going to Lougheed tomorrow anyway. I'll take a wider angle shot.

just a few days from getting my hands on the hottest smartphone in the marketplace! bb10!!!!
Iike how is says to ask a mobile shop advisor for details, but none of them can tell you anything right now other than its coming.
So do I get an apology if I got back and get another picture?
Do you really think I would fake a poster using a torch when I have images of the z10 readily available?
Man, it took me like ten hours to photoshop these images...
Is this good enough or should I shoot a video? Maybe conduct interviews about when said poster appeared?

A sales rep at Bell in Toronto said the same thing about availability date. Also said $149 on contract.
I still don't buy it. Your ad looks a little wrinkled and as if were placed over the existing display. You can see the outline of another BB underneath it. "A" for effort though.
Ok, now you are getting into tinfoil hat territory.
Obviously it is posted on the existing display, it is a one page notice.
