Rookie Blackberry user needs help with backup file
:confused:so my 8700g w/tmobile didn't work for a week. I sat down and reinstalled the device software. Everything was going smooth until the final prompt that said something about saving back-up files. It seemed to lock on that final piece. So i disconnected the blackberry from the computer (2 hrs after it got stuck there) to see that it said something about saving the backed-up files on my pc. I can stand to lose most of that info - except i need an old text message that I am assuming would have been on there and need info from it.
I see the file on my pc but obviously i can't open on pc. Anyway to get it opened/back to get that one text i REALLY need?
