something that you have to also consider is that there is no reason to preorder. So yes, pre-ordrs may be low, but that doesnt really mean anything.

I bought my iPhone 4 the day it came out... no pre-order. There isnt an 'iphone' demand for this phone, so people know there isnt a reason to go to a store and then 3 days later go back to pick it up. I have a store down the street (that i had never been to) so i went and pre-ordered a couple hrs ago.
If i had to travel out of my way I would just go on the 5th
