Promotions usually have end dates. Telus had a $50 trade-in promotion which ends Feb 28. This was their launch price.

Sure. They aren't extending an intro sale, means they must be beating estimates. Why not? If already trying to make a desperate, unsupported conclusion to support one's cognitive bias, why not add another link the implausibility chain! Yep, and if BB10 tanks long term we will see all kinds of sales. If BB10 were tanking so catastophically - I can't imagine how bad that would have to be for RIM executives to be working on sales gimmicks already - then yes, we might see an extension of this TEN DOLLAR promo ;-)

When I got mine in order to get it for 139 you had to do a mail in rebate. So i actually will have 189 charged to my account and I will get the $50 rebate soon. Wonder if the price is 199 minus a 50$ rebate to make it 149?
