I am posting this on the Rogers Carrier and the Third Party Apps sections of the forum as well:

Rogers (Canada) now offers a $15.00 unlimited push e-mail/messenger plan. The catch is that they disable the APN WAP on the device so that the native browser doesn't work. I have gotten Opera and Yahoo Messenger to work using the same portal that push e-mail and messenger use.

Part of the problem is that my BB Maps program is disabled and I can't launch Google Maps at all. All I want is some clarification as to whether these applications truly require APN WAP to work?
