A few weeks ago I turned my phone from vibrate to normal and suddenly it wont actually ring. I turn it to loud and it will vibrate but not ring. I have tried everything from editing the profile to resetting it to factory settings. Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem cause it sucks only having a phone that only vibrates and not rings.

have you checked the ring volume via the volume buttons?

have someone call you and when it is ringing press the up arrow on the button that is on the side of the phone...

Do your other notifications work or does everything only vibrate?

OK. This WORKS I promise, it is the FONZIE move

1. Go to Sounds profile
2. Click on Set Ring Tones/Alerts
3. Click on Phone
4. On Ring Tone , change to any pre programmed BB ringtone
5. If Vibration was set to ON turn it off and vice versa
6 Save changes .
7. Remove the battery .
8. Make a test call .
9. Move it back to watch you want .

It is just like Fonzie hitting the juke box.
This ringer thing usually happens after downloading a non BB ringtone, it kind of makes the BB pause , this also effects the speaker on media. BY toggleling the ringer setting like this, it resolves both issues.

I have never seen this not work.
