    Yes, many people on this site thought they would. Other so-called analysts thought so too.

    They did, but apparently HP sees some value there. Good for them to get a foot in the door with a well known name in the mobile world as opposed to starting from scratch in a way. We'll see how it works out. But like anohter poster said, more competition is better for us in terms of quality, innovation, and price.
