This is definitely good news to me!! Possibly a sign that the markets perception of RIM is starting to change for the better as is evident in the 30% rise over the past 5 days.

Now? I'm the opposite. I realize that the majority of these "experts" are clueless/following the herd. If you've been watching RIM closely you will see the real indicators that show where they are going as a company. Stock price is good, but its certainly not the end-all, be-all

The Canadian TSX (Toronto Stock Exchange) was open. It shot up 17% in the days trading yesterday.

I went ahead and bought another 60 shares today. I wanted to buy more yesterday but it was closed because of thanksgiving... wasnt expecting a 1 dollar jump at opening though RIMM is making me monies right now though. That's for sure.

Yup. I have now officially doubled my investment in RIM, sitting pretty at 101%. I can't believe it only took 3 months to double it. The only time I've ever seen stock perform like this was when buying IPO stocks (not Facebook). Still sitting on some more cash to buy more as I'm pretty sure we'll see $20 in the near future.

1. Open a trading account with a broker. You could do it with your bank or some online broker (for eg: QuesTrade in Canada, AmeriTrade in US etc.)
2. Fund this account (put in some money)
3. Login and buy or call your broker's help-desk (trading desk), give them your account number and place your order over the phone.

If you're in Canada you can open a TFSA trading account. By next year you can contribute up to $25K ($20K this year). Tax free money baby!
