RIM has unveiled its CDMA based 3G phone for its north American consumers. Rim has named it BlackBerry Tour, a smart phone which features state-of-the-art communications and multimedia capabilities.
yes I already read it here that RIM will respond to $99 iPhone from Apple Inc. and Palm Inc.’s Pre. RIM reports results Thursday for its fiscal first quarter, which ended May 30, before the competition unveiled its new offerings. Some analysts will be looking for signs that RIM’s rivals are driving down the price that carriers are willing to pay for BlackBerry devices, putting pressure on profits in the longer term.

Awesome! Competition driving down prices. I love it when the free market economy is left to work unmolested by government sycophants bent on controlling capitalism and stifling liberty (i.e. Obama, and Europe).
I called TELUS today to see what I could get off of the Tour..they said pricing hadn't been released, but it is scheduled for July 15th. BGR has released some pricing out there...although unconfirmed.
