- That is true for iconic brands, but you're using the term too loosely. Coca-Cola, Nike, McDonald's, Walmart, and GE are iconic brands. BlackBerry is not. It's big and popular, but it is not an iconic brand. You cannot apply the same marketing strategy of one of these iconic brands to BlackBerry.
