Bottom Line

The buy upgrade from Jefferies and the target price of $19.5 a share is a reason alone to buy the stock. The most bullish case scenario of $56 a share is another reason. The large amount of shorted stocks are also a reason why RIMM will not correct very easy.

So as to my final verdict, given the forensic evidence we have, my buy rating on RIMM still stands, even at these levels and even though the stock has already doubled from my initial recommendation. On a final note, my recommendation will continue to be a buy, until such time I have evidence that RIMM will not be able to double within a 12 month period or something has happened to the company that will make me change my mind.

Everything you say is true, But these guys are no less qualified than the mainstream media! There for no less weight should be given to this article.
In truth the best way to navigate all the positive and negative articles is by understanding the parts that make sense and forgeting the hyperbole. Witch most are full of.
Edit; After actually reading his article, I want to state; this guy is stating well known facts! Zero Hyperbole here!

The comments to this article are quite interesting as well. There is some indication that one person checked with NASDAQ and confirmed that the $34.96 share price for RIMM is valid. Global market tomorrow will tell a tale for sure. I guess Tuesday in the US because of the fed holiday.

yeah but with the leaks that were avilible it was clear that it would happen, it would have taken alot for AAPL to hit $1000 and they didn't have what it takes, they pulled a RIM and failed to innovate and make the change to compete withAndroidand now they have Windows Phone 8 and so to have BB10 to battle
