Now this seems like a smart move on RIMs part to capitalize on their investment of seeded BlackBerry 10 Dev Alphas. Along with quite a few other devs I have received an email from RIM offering a complimentary pass to BlackBerry Jam Americas 2012. I am not quite sure what the qualification criteria is but if you have not received the email and own a BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha you may want to check your inbox or spam folder.

Smart move on RIMs part to keep BlackBerry 10 developers engaged up until the launch! Let us know if you will be there.

Yep, this is why I didn't register before. I assumed there would be free deals as the date came closer. We didn't pay for the BB10 jam either, which is fair since RIM needs as many people at these conferences as they can get. There is no sense in charging people to show up.

There are local developer groups today that are getting 100% discount codes for their members. Again, good move, pack that place however they can.
