What exactly is your problem? Why this nit-picky argumentative crap about EVERYTHING?
Saunders et al are building partnerships and excitement among developers, something RIM has not done very well up til now. How exactly is that a problem???? Where is the harm in developing entertainment apps that will make the devices more appealing to a wider audience? Isn't that, after all, what everyone is ******** about? How many more games do we need? I don't know, why don't you ask the people who gleefully dance when yet another useless app is added to the several hundred thousand already available in the App Store and Android Market, the same people who proclaim that RIM's shortcomings in this area are the main reason for plummeting stock price, dwindling market share, and everything else wrong with the company.
Well, they gleefully dance because they have their basics covered.
