Please for the love of god make the calendar more secure to changes on these devices. I set default services to one account yet BBM group calendar and facebook calendar just randomly populate my calendar with birthdays and crap of hundreds of people. Its easily corrected via DM but why should we have to. A simple pop up asking to approve 3rd party changes would be super. Thanks.

Nope, facebook for example I only have the contact link checked and unchecked calendar and messages. Blackberry Group calendar has no option that I see either. I even delete the facebook cal service book and it still pop birthdays back in a month later. I don't subscribe to any facebook birthday apps and my gmail account is not linked to facebook calendar. Trust me I have gone out of my way to NOT link that crap.

Yeah, I think the problem is the facebook app. It takes over your blackberry and does what it wants to. That app is horrid.

Saying yes to the contact link added all of the birthdays to your contacts. Adding birthdays to your contacts will add the appropriate birthdays to your calendar.
(I'm assuming the birthdays are being put on your default calendar and not just your blackberry showing your facebook events list which is defined in facebook)
It would be nice if Facebook gave you the option to delete or block birthdays from being added to that calendar)
