Wow. Rim beats MS this time. All the new 6.1 devices appear to have native flac, ogg and other audio support. Well before any Windows OS natively supports them. RIM beats MS at providing various native lossless support. Who would have thought?

At the bottom of the page the Appendix - shows the multimedia support. The above link is just the torch 2. But there are spec sheets showing same for the bold touch and the Monaco/Monza as well. I'm actually excited about this. Lossless audio can give an exceptional multimedia experience.

Finally some flac love for Blackberry. I always hated having to downgrade my flac files to MP3 for my on the go tunes.
