I've been catching up on the crackberry podcast and have heard several references to the RIM 900 as the first BlackBerry. Does anyone have on of these or at least a picture? I've googled but haven't found anything.

For the record my first BlackBerry was a Nextel 7520.

My first one was a 7230 with AT&T. I got it back in 2003.

Man, that's going back in time. Reminds me of my two "bag phones" - with three watts of power. Lol.

The Blackberry 800 series and the 900 series were basically the first Blackberry's on the market. The 800 series looked like a pager while the 900 series looked more like the current 8800 series somewhat! Mobilex was the service on the 800mhz band. I personally have a 957 from Rogers AT&T and yes it still works!

Any chance that you have a copy of the specifications and/or user manual that came with the 957?
