So, there I was playing Solitair on my 9800 and at the top was a paid advertisement for the new Nokia 820 and 920 phones. I think this is as ridiculous as it can get. BB should control what advertisement companies are used with their apps. I would much rather see a BB10 banner at the top rather than one for the competition.

it all goes to the highest bidder. especially if that app developer made a windows mobile version of the app.

its gorilla advertising, they put whatever on whatever device they want or need to push.

what are you talking about? i don't think even apple can control the type of ads shown on certain apps.

Unless BB gets into the Ad-Serving business (which is highly unlikely), that's not going to happen. Online Ad-Servers wouldn't stay in business if they pared down their consumer demographic, as it would dramatically reduce the clientele buying ad space. Do you also get mad when you see competing products advertised on the CB home page?

Instead, you should be happy that your Solitaire app is available to you for free due to the Ad support. Regardless which ads it serves to you.

This is whats gonna cripple google's ad dominance and there money in future .If it dont ruin my game I aint got beef with ads people who pay the highest will get the space.Im sure BB10 will be up when its out.
