Help!!!! I am trying to restore my "saved" messages with desktop manager. The files are greyed out and it reads something like "these files are read only and cannot be restored".

How can I read/get at them??????

This has been a very frustrating topic for me and there does not seem to be too much written about it.

Any advice would be so very welcome.

As Fubaz said a selective restore usually does it for hard problem issues like you are having. I copy and pst all of mine from my saved message folder and place them on a USB stick, For future reference.
