Research In Motion Readies BlackBerry "One-Two Punch" for Early 2013 - Arik Hesseldahl - Enterprise - AllThingsD
Good read.
Thanks tmurphx5
Good to see some RIM news that's upbeat for a change.
As for the comments about the full touch device being like the dev alpha, i took it to meant the screen and interface was similar to the dev alpha device, not the physical design of it.
I knew it! Now Mr. Heins proved it!
OP you forgot to include the image of Thorsten Heins lol
I'm glad to hear that they will be using Paratek antenas in their first BB10 phones. There were some concerns that they wouldn't be intergrated in time
C'mon Thor! Knock me out!! I dare ya. I double dog dare ya!!
YES finally the good press rolls out time to invest in some RIMM stock and make a bit of spending money
That article excites me because it sounds like the author has seen the full qwerty device and is describing it!
Maybe I'm just being overly optimistic
Just a guess but I'm starting to believe that rims delay was brought on by carriers not wanting any conflicts with the launch of IP5. They have alot riding on it and probably wanted to ensure success.
The problem is Q1 2013 is the target launch date.
Will it still look cool after everyone else has shown their hand before then?
They will unveil the first two models next week, apparently.

This is good news!
Beyond what the article mentioned only requiring one antenna for multiple frequencies here is a quote from a different article about this technology.
"Paratek technology will allow Blackberry users to upload and download large amounts of data faster--making for longer battery life--and a new antennae design will make phones smaller and thinner. Additionally, Paratek's "Tunable RF" technology reportedly improves user experience by reducing dropped calls."
:D
But didn't heins say this in a older article.
