    I'm sure this question must have been asked at one point or another, but I was unable to find anything.

    Basically, is there a way (or an app) to remap the functions of the Lock and Mute buttons that are at the top of most Blackberry devices.

    Since there are keyboard shortcuts for locking, it would be great to use the Lock hardkey to do something else. I also don't use the Mute hardkey.

    My other side keys are already doing other things like Vlingo and Camera.

    Unfortunately there isn't it's part of the os, it would be a sweet feature though

    I do, however, suggest looking @ QuickLaunch - The Swiss Army Knife of Blackberry Apps! - VOTED BEST PRODUCTIVITY APP OF 2009! - Utilities BlackBerry Apps you can set it to a convenience key and control many many applications from that, a must have for any bb, imo
