same thing happening to someone in another thread.... have you tried doing any software updates or anything like that? make sure its charged, it may be bricked....

the phone wont do anything plugged in to the wall or computer, only thing it'll do is the red light goes away for a second or two

This came from Reed himself in another thread similar to this one...

There are three conditions that qualify as bricked.

Stone cold dead, likley soaked in sea water. No chance of recovery.

White screen with error message. Fully recoverable

Black screen. blinking LED. Cross your fingers, you might be lucky.

Which I believe is what your problem is right? So you should follow the link as already advised...

yup sounds like a bricked blackberry to me. follow those steps and you might be able to get yours up and running (i was able to do so with a friends')
