Rebooting is only needed if
A) you start running low on memory. options > status. File free
B) you have an issue that can't be corrected any other way
(notifications that won't go away, freezing, etc.)
2 ways to do this. Take out battery WITHOUT turning off the
phone. Leave battery out for 30 seconds or so and put it back or
press ALT + RIGHT SHIFT + DELETE. When the screen comes
back on do that again (less wear and tear on battery door, and
minimizes the risk of damaging the phone by abruptly removing
power from the phone)
I reboot mine once a week , and hard reboot (by removing the battery) once a month. Just to allow the phone to reset itself and reconnect to the network

I have no reboot schedule. I do it only when it needs to be done
and no other time. I cannot actually remember when was the last
time I reset my phone. I used to do this regularly but have found
it to be a simply unnecessary practice (for me at least)
My memory is good (30mb), everything runs just fine.

I remember the day when I had 30MB. Even after I am fully optimized, I only run around 20MB. I have a ton of apps on my BB that I use on a regular basis. I even keep themes that I dont use all the time backed up on my PC instead of keeping them on my BB.
