For me, and a lot of other people I'd imagine, the Pearl was their first step into the smartphone world. I was lightning fast on its keyboard and think it remains a bit of a forgotten hero of the phone industry. I read there are a few more BB's in the pipeline this year... perhaps something along the lines of the Pearl would be it?

Dude I love the pearl and used the sure type keyboard on the torch wish that the Z10 had it

I loved my pearl lol....but no, I do not think that is in the cards for BlackBerry currently. they have cut device plans to 4.... two high end two low end... my guess is that we will see it as Q10 Z30 Q5 Z10 or 5 or some similar incarnation

At the very most they can offer the surepress keyboard option as a customization for the z10.

But as for a hardware keypad version, it would have to sell for extreme cheap to sell. Think Nokia asha, a day that's the market.
