Hello,

I would like to reassign my right shift key to alt, which It's really annoying not having there. Possible - how? Also, can someone tell me why my keyboard backlight seems to go on and off randomly - and how I can do thing like tabbing and moving around screens quickly?

1) you cannot reassign the shift key
2) the keyboard (and screen) use the ambient light sensor and adjust accordingly. when the ambient light is bright, the keyboard will turn off to save battery and the screen will brighten (remember your old phone outside in the sun was impossible to read bc it was too dark?). when in the dark, the keyboard will light up so you can see and the screen will dim so it doesnt blind the **** out of ur eyes.
3) press and hold the menu key, that is the application switcher. it can be used to quickly switch between open applications much like you would hit alt+tab on your PC to switch windows.
