A deleted channel post from one of the other BlackBerry fan sites (won't name it-- in case they got in trouble).

It sounds like a tall order, if you ask me... but nice of them to at least hope to transition all BB10 devices to Android.

Is this a real slide discussing BlackBerry's transition to Android?-img_20150828_082020_edit.png

It was deleted from BerryFlow because it's merely a 3 year old failed take over attempt...

Perhaps 3 years old but almost exactly what will happen IMO - Company survival but platform (BB10) demise. Good if you are a shareholder I guess. Onwards and upwards then (with or without the tiny handful of remaining BlackBerry faithful).

Honestly I think BlackBerry will move entirely to "secure" Android (touch / slider / Passport) saving one device (probably the Classic) for BB10 ultra secure applications.

I would imagine probably a Classic-like, Classic-like without camera, and one Leap-like (with same specs as whatever the Classic-like has) touch screen.

LOL You are hoping they leave at least a few for the faithful. Otherwise Chen must have iron b@lls risking total alienation of the remainder of the 8 BlackBerry users and at the same time hoping that the new Frankenstein OS will lure the Android hordes away from the Samsung, LG or HTC handsets.

Nope, I think it's a done deal. BB10 is EOL - simply not enough resources at BlackBerry to maintain two operating systems and I'm not even talking about the legal obstacles per OHA. I think it's time to face the stark realities. Sad day but that's that.

I suppose Robin Chan predicted exactly what BB will end up doing. From all we have seen so far, BB seems to be following the steps on that slide.
