I read that the new 4.5 os upgrade will allow users to open office files from the memory card. My question is, when will you be able to run software from the card. I have owned several programs on my pc that would only install the bare minimum and you would be able to run the larger files from a run disk. Will this be possible after the os upgrade is launched? This would eliminate the need for a data connection to use gps. More importantly, it would allow users to still use gps while on the phone.
