That's cool! Is the RBC banking app itself any good? I've been looking to switch banks.. either CIBC or RBC since they only support BB10 apps.

Not really. It's extremely light featured. Using the mobile web version is pretty much the same. Esentially it does what's needed but I am really quite happy that they are launching a trading app.

As far as switching Banks, they're all going to have their issues but I, personally, would steer clear of CIBC for the lack of locations alone.

Yeah.. well can it at least do basic functions such as show balances, transfer money? .. pay bills maybe even.. and maybe have credit card balance/payment within the app?

Yeah I wanted to go to RBC anyway not a fan of CIBC.. one of the reasons being their locations

I'm a big fan of RBC, and the app does the basic stuff which is good enough for me. And if your with bell soon you can do NFC payments with the app

But TD left out transfering funds between different currency accounts ($USD > $CDN) which I use a lot, so I still end up using the browser for this function.

Waiting for this. This will be a nice addition to my Q10. RBC also announced $9.95 per trade commission fee's, no strings attached. This is a lot better than what used to be $28..

I got my news directly from a friend that works at Action Direct headquarters in Toronto.

They were told that is was going live on Friday and to prepare for it. He doesn't know what the hold up is but it should be out really soon. I'm looking forward to the app just as much as you.

Not cool about the fail comments. I'm just telling you what I was told.

TD is one of the largest shareholders of BlackBerry. They pretty much have to support BB10!

Well, the RBC app has an update which allows for trading It wasn't shown when I searched my world for updates but I went into the old app profile in BlackBerry World and it said there's an update. Haven't logged in to check it out yet.

Works pretty good! Just had to update some info in my profile and away we went!
