    Hi
    I'm on the verge of ordering the new Silver Blackberry Passport and see it is in pre-order.

    Does anyone have an actual date of arrival at Crackberry Canada as I'd like to get one asap?

    Also - I noted in the specs that there is no mention of GSM. Am I looking in the wrong place? I need GSM for my European travel.

    If anyone has the answers, I'd love to know - and I apologize for the very basic questions!

    This phone has GSM bands that are used for 2G. It also have UMTS bands, which are used for 3G and HSPA+ (which some carriers in the US refer to as '4G'.) It also has bands for LTE--including the three main ones being used in Europe.

    All in all, a good choice for a traveler. Basically all the Passport models are.
