    I did a search on this topic and found some helpful information, but I still questions about selling my Bold.

    I switched from AT&T to Verizon around a week ago. Now my Bold is inactive and I cancelled my month-month no commitment contract with AT&T.

    I now want to sell the Bold because I have no use for it. I know that I should wipe the device before selling it. Is that all I have to do? When I do sell it, will the new owner get my emails because I never took my email off of the AT&T BIS site?

    I read that I have to call AT&T to get the PIN released, but when I switched to Verizon and ported my number over I was told by the rep that I don't have to do that.

    So, in order to make sure none of my personal information goes to the new owner of my Bold what exactly do I have to do?

    Wiping is a must. Yes you should get the PIN and IMEI released.
