    Would it be possible to use a AT&T or any other USA Sim in Canada as your carrier rather than using Rogers? Because I find the Canadian carriers here are rip offs compared to them..

    Err, um... on a huge technically yes. You could activate service in the US and then roam on Canadian networks.

    The price will be through the roof though. Substantially more than simply going with one of the Canadian carriers.

    I'm on AT&T and have been for many years. When I go abroad, I call 611 and get the international plan for that month, then cancel it in months that I don't need it. It's pretty cheap - I think it was $35 last time. It's nice because u keep my number and get all my normal communications.
