I actually work troubleshooting blackberrys and we do plenty of swaps half the time the displayed number will change by itself other times it wont

anybody know if its possible to actually edit that displayed number?
it always shows the number it was first activated with

Go to option>owner and make sure the number is not in there.
Also hit the green call button>status>my number and be sure it's not in there as well.

Options--> advance option--> simcard --> my number
