So I just bought a blackberry Q10 off of craigslist for 200. I'm located in Irving Texas by the way.
The guy I bought it from said he worked for blackberry and was unfourtunitly apart of the employee cuts, so he decided to get rid of his Q10 that BlackBerry gave him. The phone has no carrier logo and is unlocked for all GSM networks (currently using on Verizon). But at the very bottom where the networks name is suppose to be it says "NOT FOR SALE 0784-0055" and it keeps asking me to send feedback to blackberry from the phone.

Anyone have an idea if this was a bad buy or why it says not for sale on it? I'm just curious.

All BlackBerry internal phones say this, he isnt supposed to sell it. If you can activate it, I wouldnt worry about it, but if you cant I am unsure if there is much you can do. There was a LARGE contingent of BlackBerry employees that were laid off in Irving, he very well may have been one of them. The device should work fine though, just flash it with the latest leak and you should be good to go.

yeah it works perfectly fine and i just updated the OS. So far so good!
