I was just reading some email on my blackberry and it got me thinking. When I receive an email does it download to my phone or do I just read it on my phone. The reason I ask is because I don't like to delete any email and I'm not sure if its taking up any memory not deleting them from my handset. I use gmail only on my. Thanks

I'd like to know, too. Are my saved emails actually stored on my phone?

Yes. Messages (in the Messages application) that are on the device take up storage space on the device.

And they are still stored on your GMail account. So deleting them will not typically delete from the GMail.

Anything saved to your BB will take up memory.
Emails will delete if you have Messages/Menu/Options/Email Reconciliation, Delete On-Mailbox and Handheld selected.
