Does BB10 have a better way to control what data apps can access than Andoid or iOS? I'm looking for a better way to keep my data private than by allowing apps, for example, full access to my address book when they don't "need" it.

    Hi mgerbasio,

With BB10 you have the ability to edit app permission for any app that you install, right down to whether or not they can access your contacts or any other data base. So the answer to your question is yes.

That said, despite the conspiracy theories in my experience its very rare that an app ask for permissions it doesn't need to do what its doing so while you can prevent them from accessing your data you will likely limit their functionality or even stop the app from working at all.
