40% revenue from hardware which is mostly BBOS

53% service revenue which is mostly BBOS

That paints a very clear picture. Are you disputing those numbers?

An analyst from JP Morgan estimates 300,000 BB10 shipments for the quarter. I'd be surprised if it's that low.

The analyst also anticipates weak smartphone shipments of just 1.5 million in Q4, again below Street estimates of 1.8 million. That would represent a 21% quarter-over-quarter decline and 75% annually.

Mr. Hall believes BB10 handset shipments will come in at just 300,000, marking a 40% quarterly decline and 70% year over year.

What would you have them do, Belfast? Give up and shut the doors? Lay off 90% of the company and do MDM management? Release a new line of BB7 phones? Make Android like BBOS? Make Blackberry 10 like BBOS? License Windows Phone?

Just curious to know, but what new can be brought to BlackBerry Legacy OS according to you? I always see you asking to return back to BBOS and just upping the device specs, but what more can the software take?
Also what about the QNX acquisition money they spent and R&D money they have spent on BB10 up until now?

The problem is that it's a two-pronged issue.

BlackBerry OS sales are rapidly declining and those declining sales are not off-set by BlackBerry 10 sales increasing.

Even if they stopped BlackBerry 10 tomorrow, how many quarters left till BlackBerry 7 sales fall to zero? How many quarters after that till service revenue is gone?
