when it comes to acoustics playbook blows any other tablet on the market and the reason behind it is QNX Aviage Acoustic Processing Suite. As per QNX website it's Acoustic Processing Suite has about 80+ patents and there is some very good info about it on their site. The reason behind QNX's expertise in acoustics may be because they were once owned by Harman Systems a pioneer in acoustics.

The QNX Aviage Acoustic Processing Suite is a modular library of field-proven algorithms that improves the clarity, quality, and accuracy of voice communications for hands-free and speech recognition systems. Suited to diverse communication environments (including automotive, conference telephony, telepresence and VOIP), it allows customers to build a high-quality, resilient audio solution without expensive and time-consuming tuning for differing solutions within each environment.

The QNX Aviage Acoustic Processing Suite contains modules on both the receive- and send-side that are designed specifically for clear and accurate sound delivery. They handle acoustic echo cancellation, noise reduction, wind blocking, dynamic parametric equalization, bandwidth extension, and more. Together these modules guarantee the finest possible quality communication even in the challenging environment of a moving vehicle or crowded conference room.

Interesting video. I would really like to see how good this really is walking around on the street, not only in the car.

Road construction, cars, service vehicles, wind, etc can make calls difficult to hear comfortably.

This is another example of what QNX brings to the table. They have to put this stuff in BB10 phones

Umm, you see to have left out a very critical word there.

Hint: it would appear after "blows."
