    I might ask for a Q5 for my birthday. I am on T-Mobile.
    So I should look for a GSM model with 1700MHz and 2100MHz bands ?
    Anything else I should check ?

    Just get an unlocked SQR100-1 and you'll be good to go. WiFi calling won't be available, but that's for any Q5 (or Z30) you buy.
