It doesn't work that way in Canada. They don't have to tell you how much are you actually paying for the device itself. My country is the land of hidden fees

The $45 plan is 200 minutes, 200MB of data.

So it's a total crap plan, but then again, all Canadian plans are.
The deal here is actually the $50 off that futureshop is offering on the phone, bringing it down to $0 on the 2 year plan.

As BerryWizard said, you would just pay for the plan. The cost of the phone is already built into the plan. You get 10% (wow so impressive!) off plans if you BYOD.

Yes, no extra costs....200mb data, unlimited texting, call display, voice mail, 200 anytime minutes Canada wide and free calling Canada wide from 5pm to 7am...it's a pretty decent plan compared to $70 plans

It's a light plan so you have to use WiFi at home obviously...no big downloads when in cell coverage.

Right it makes a fine "home phone" especially if the BlackBerry smartphone and wireless carrier support UMA (WiFi calling) and you only use it at home and maybe while running weekly errands.

Lol that's so ****ty! I got my phone from Virgin four months ago same $45 a month plan and got 1gb of data. Plus my Z10 was about $100 with a $300 tab.

This deal you will have a $300 tab and save the $100 but you won't be able to use the damn thing!

$300. They put it on a tab that's paid off over the term.
