im currently using a torch. i am used to the trackpad and buttons especially for selecting text. i wanted to know how you guys adjusted from prior blackberries especially the bold.

i wanted to know if it is frustrating or refreshing to not have that row of buttons anymore.

also using the device one handed. is it comfortable swiping the thumb all over the screen versus using a trackpad. especially for selecting text to cut and paste.

i think this is my deciding factor for the bold or q10

I changed from a Tour 9630 to a Z10 without much problems. I think that switching to a Q10 would be even easier because that model still incorporates a QWERTY keyboard.

The last device I had a trackpad on was the MyTouch 4G. It had a 3.8in screen, and I used the trackpad quite a bit. However, once I got a phone with a 4.3in screen, I found I wasn't missing the trackpad one bit. So for me, larger screens make the trackpad unnessecary. Would you consider getting a Z10, or are your only options the Q10 or Bold? In the meantime while you weigh your options, omething that you could do is practice not using the trackpad on your Torch and see how that kind of navigation feels to you after awhile.
