A Q10 w/ a 4 inch 1080p display too much to ask for?
After reading the specs of the rumored Q30, I saw that it's supposed to have a 720p screen...
I keep hearing the infamous excuse, "BBRY promised devs 2 resolutions to make things easier..." But come on, the aspect ratios are still the same whether it's 720p or 1080p.
And then there's the "the human eye can't distinguish the difference between 720 and 1080 blah blah blah." Look, 1080 is becoming the smartphone standard for premium devices, so why not have it on the best QWERTY handset? Sure, a lot of people's vision isn't good enough to make the discernment, but I can definitely tell a difference. But whether or not someone can tell the difference is irrelevant at this point. BBRY is the underdog, why give the competition and potential consumers any ammo to NOT buy your product? BBRY needs EVERY thing in favor, and something like having Full HD displays is something most definitely in BBRY's own control.
I hope it gets bumped up to 1080p. I do like the fact that it's OLED. Actually, I like just about everything else that's rumored to be included, especially the 3300mah battery. Lack of AC wireless isn't that big of a deal since N wireless is more than I can saturate (not to mention LTE will more than make up for lack of AC). 3GB is a nice addition; even if BB10 doesn't need 3GB, I like the idea of giving devices headroom. What do they say, better to have and not need than to need and not have?
