I wouldn't wait, why suffer, just enjoy the Q10! What if there is a delay on the Q20? Considering that there have always been delays... need I say more?

Played around with my MIL's Q10. It's a nice device, so I don't think you'd be disappointed. But worth exploring the Z30...it's a great device.

If you feel you can hold out, wait for the Q20 but if you can't, go for the Q10. I moved from the baby Bold 9790 to the Z10 because the BlackBerry virtual keyboard was by far the best out there for any platform that I was willing to give up the physical keys. I also wanted to move to a modern OS (even though OS 7.1 was great) with better specs.

However, as good as the Z10 was (still better than the iPhone and Droid phones I tested out), I still wanted the Q10 physical keyboard and a better battery to make it truly the workhorse I need it to be. Also, the Q10 form factor is a lot more comfortable on the hands to talk for long periods on the phone and feels better in my pant pockets. I didn't miss the trackpad or extra buttons at all but to each their own on their preferences. Also, I just recently took the Q10 overseas and it was able to pick up signals very well over people with other competitor phones but same carriers.

Now I also picked up a new Q5 as there was a nice $150 sale and I always thought when I saw the demo model that it was an attractive phone and something I could give away for a gift (or keep as a backup phone). If you liked the Curve, this is a BB10 version of it. Doesn't quite have the premium build that the Q10 has and no removable battery but can hold it's own. I'd pay $250 for the Q5 easily.

So if you can't wait and want BB10, premium quality and something similar to the 9930, Q10 is a nice transition. Q5 is a more cost effective alternative and can hold you over until the Q20 comes out. Otherwise, just wait if Q20 is the one you are eyeing.
